TOCA FUSION PRE-COMPETITIVE TEAMS ARE A GREAT OPTION FOR A PLAYER LOOKING TO PREPARE FOR COMPETITIVE SOCCER AND WANTS MORE THAN A RECREATIONAL SOCCER EXPERIENCE.
Pre-Competitive Program Overview
Our Pre-Competitive Program is designed to develop young players and prepare them for the transition into full competitive soccer. It offers a structured, age-appropriate environment focused on individual skill development and gradual exposure to team play.
Our 5v5 (u7) program is the ideal first step toward competitive soccer.
Players will be assigned a trained coach, with one practice each week and weekend games against other clubs in the Kansas City area. The 5v5 format maximizes touches on the ball and emphasizes ball mastery, dribbling, shooting, and basic team play. This setting allows players to build confidence and develop foundational skills in a fun, supportive environment.
The 7v7 (u8-u9) program offers a more advanced pre-competitive experience.
Teams will be formed through player placement sessions and include two practices per week, weekend games, and participation in Fall and Spring 7v7 tournaments. The focus remains on individual skill development while gradually introducing players to larger field concepts and team structure. Spots are limited, but there are no formal cuts.
Program Details:
- Season runs August through May (Fall, Winter, Spring)
- Families may register season-to-season, though full-year participation is encouraged to support team continuity and development.
